On 27th August 2024, eminent scholar Dr. Kausik Chatterjee from Satyapriya Roy College of Education a sort aided Teachers trainings intuition led a seminar on “Creating Content Using ICT,” aligning with the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 in Kamala Devi Sohanraj Singhvi Jain College of Education.
The event commenced with an opening speech by Principal Dr. Sadhana Jha, who emphasized the importance of digital integration in modern education.
Addressing students of the second and fourth semesters, Dr. Chatterjee focused on how Information and Communication Technology (ICT) can be utilised to enhance learning outcomes and discussed the significance of digital tools in creating interactive, personalized content. He highlighted NEP 2020’s vision for technology-driven pedagogy and equipping educators with ICT skills. He inspired the trainee teachers to become a part of the knowledge economy and to actively use technology in the teaching learning process.
The seminar was interactive and engaging. The audience actively communicated their views during discussions.
The event was coordinated by Assistant Professor, Sm. Amrita Datta and concluded with a vote of thanks by Professor Assistant Professor Mr. Subrata Majumdar, encouraging participants to embrace digital transformation for a more accessible, inclusive, and engaging education.
